DUE to ambitious expansion plans in Scotland, Tilhill Forestry is promoting two of its most experienced and respected professionals to the position of regional manager.

Andrew Vaughan will move on from his role as district manager of Central Scotland to take responsibility for a new North Scotland region encompassing the Central Scotland, West Highland and North Highland Districts.

Eddie Addis will build on the experience he has gained as district manager for Central Borders by taking on the remit of regional manager for South Scotland, taking additional responsibility for the busy South West Scotland District.

The new regional manager roles will ensure an improved service to the company’s clients, as well as providing a sound structure for onward growth. Both regional managers will report directly to Tim Liddon, forestry director.

Andrew said: “I am delighted to have been chosen to take up this role for North Scotland. It will indeed be a challenge. We have a variety of different client types and therefore many facets of forest management to engage with in order to satisfy our client needs. I am very much looking forward to the challenges ahead.”

Eddie added: “Being given responsibility to grow what is already a very busy South West Scotland District is an honour and one I accept with relish. The role has started with immediate effect and I look forward to working with both districts under my remit in order to expand our work in South Scotland.”
