MANUFACTURER Clark Tracks’ new state-of-the-art automation and production facilities have entered use at its Dumfries base.

The new 4,100 m² production space is now in use and the new total space of 7,500 m² is more than double what is was previously.

A key element in planning the new facilities has been to improve overall efficiency. In addition to the new automated production lines, user-friendly handling systems and the introduction of advanced heating technology have enabled Clark Tracks to streamline its whole production process.

“Nordic Traction has recently opened a sales company in Canada, and as the market starts to recover from the pandemic we are now equipped to respond to the demand also in North America,” said Stewart Kelly, director, Clark Tracks.

Clark Tracks, part of Nordic Traction Group, specialises in developing and manufacturing forest machine tracks to suit almost all cut-to-length machines and skidders. The company has manufactured forest machine tracks for over 30 years.
