The Institute of Chartered Foresters' Trees, People and the Built Environment 4 conference has been POSTPONED until February 2021 in response to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis.
The event, due to take place at the University of Birmingham on April 22-23, will now take place at the same venue on February 3-4 2021.
A statement from the ICF said: "In light of recent advice from the government and WHO, the University of Birmingham has cancelled all events due to be held on their premises, including Trees, People and the Built Environment 4 which was due to be held next month. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused but I’m sure you understand this decision – the well-being of our members, delegates and speakers must take priority.
"The good news, however, is that we have a confirmed date for a rescheduled conference with renewed commitment from the Chair and many of our keynote speakers. The conference will now take place on the 3rd & 4th February 2021 at the University of Birmingham.
"If you have already booked, you need take no further action – we’ll keep your reservation in place. If the proposed date is not suitable you will of course be entitled to a refund."
