JAS P Wilson is now approved by LANTRA to offer industry-recognised qualifications in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland on firewood processors, woodchippers and forestry winches.
Each course is of one-day duration and delivers hands-on practical skills, and health and safety training as well as industry-recognised certification to demonstrate that you and your employer have completed sufficient training to meet the industry standard which satisfies Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
The courses will operate with a 4:1 ratio, so each delegate will have a great deal of focused learning and training, while balancing the associated costs with three other trainees. Refresher courses which work on a 6:1 ratio for experienced operators are also available.
