BORDERS forestry firm Treeline Woodlands has established a partnership with Warwick-based forestry and firewood machinery specialists Fuelwood.

Together, they have formed Fuelwood Scotland, offering an extensive range of wood fuel machinery to the Scottish market.

Treeline Woodlands is a family-run forestry, fencing, and firewood business, which has been providing forestry services across Southern and Central Scotland for 28 years. The combination of its knowledge of low impact forestry contracting and wood fuel production, with Fuelwood’s impressive array of machinery, has already benefitted customers across the Central and Southern Scotland region.

The joint operation offers machinery to suit a multitude of purposes and budgets – everything from wood processing plants, mulching heads, and chippers, to domestic scale log splitters.

For processing large pieces of timber on site, there is the Lucas Mill portable sawmill, which can quickly and easily convert large timber into high value products. There’s also a range of Heizohack biomass chippers, one of the most popular choices for the production of premium grade wood chip due to their build quality and design, that allows them to run with a relatively low power input.

For those wanting to produce firewood, whether commercially or for their own use, Fuelwood Scotland offers a large variety of processors and splitters, including standard format static electric or PTO driven machines from Japa, through to self-powered, towable models from AMR. Taking firewood production 'to the next level', there is the Fuelwood Factory, which combines Fuelwood’s legendary Splitta with their automatic Cutta, log deck, output conveyer and remote control.

Demonstrator machines are available to view on request at Treeline's base in the Scottish Borders. The machines can be seen working in the woods or in the firewood yard, with staff on-hand to demonstrate the various capabilities of the equipment and discuss customers' needs.
