FOUR new trousers and a jacket are now available in the SIP Protection brushcutting range.

SIP Protection’s brushcutting trousers, traditionally bottle green in colour, are now available in anthracite grey with orange details, while the existing orange and yellow high-visibility trousers have also been updated. All trousers are now manufactured using a new fabric.

The new Greenkeeper and Greenclipper trousers each have a 3 mm foam that reaches just above the knee, said to absorb the impact of high velocity flying debris.

The new Greenkeeper Vent and Greenkeeper Vent Flash trousers both have a large ventilation mesh at the back of the legs, intended to increase comfort when working in hot conditions. In addition, all trousers have a washable waterproof front. The Greenkeeper Vent and Greenkeeper Vent Flash each have a 6 mm removable foam reaching to just below the knee.

SIP Protection’s new brushcutting jacket combines two themes – protection and visibility. Compliant with the high-visibility EN ISO 20471 standard, the jacket is described as light and comfortable, with a zip closure on the right-hand side to improve the wearer’s brushcutting comfort. The zip closure also allows for the jacket to be worn on top of a harness, ensuring the high-visibility aspects of the jacket remain visible.
