FORESTRY management company Scottish Woodlands has appointed a new director to its board.

Andrew Tuft, general manager for timber, became harvesting director for the company on 1 October 2020.

He has worked for Scottish Woodlands since 2004 and joins the board a year after David Robertson and Dessy Henry, taking the board's membership to 10.

Ralland Browne, managing director of Scottish Woodlands, said: "With the continued growth of the business, I’m delighted to announce this strategic Board appointment.

Andrew has served Scottish Woodlands with great skill and commitment and I have no doubt he will be a great addition to the board.”

Scottish Woodlands is based at Riccarton, Edinburgh and employs 195 people in 20 offices across the UK.
