IT'S one of the world's largest forestry events but has been in cold storage for nearly half a decade.

Now, Elmia Wood is set to return bigger and better than ever before and has been hailed as a "great opportunity" by industry leaders.

Between June 2-4, exhibitors from all corners of the globe will show off the latest and greatest innovations, with fresh faces joining stalwarts such as Malwa, Mus-Max, Husqvarna, Terri, Kranman, Trejon and Andreas Stihl.

For the first time, Elmia - which last took place in 2017 - will also host Let's Talk, a roundtable discussion on the future of forestry featuring leading politicians and experts from the sector.

Lars Strandell, product specialist at Husqvarna, is eagerly looking forward to the fair.

He said: “Elmia Wood is a great opportunity to showcase our innovations and products both to active professionals in the industry and to those who are just joining it.

"We’ll be manning our stations at the fair with our specialists, who will give visitors the opportunity to ask questions and comment on our products.”
