HELPING to mark the occasion of Fors MW’s 30th anniversary, Farma is launching a new series of cranes under the name Farma Excel.

The entirely new series of cranes has been developed for really tough use, constructed of high-strength steel.

Described as professional cranes at an affordable price, Farma says they are efficient, precise and safe, with a little extra range in the telescope.

The cranes have a low centre of gravity and a compact parking position, with well-protected hoses and cylinders.

The cranes are easy to maintain and designed to last a long time.

The first crane to be launched in the Excel series is the C 8.0, the strongest crane in the Farma range with a torque of 24 kNm.

Due to its optimized motion geometry and compact design, the Farma Excel 8.0 is equally suited to being fitted on a log trailer as it is for feeding the woodchipper.
Fors MW, founded by Leif Fors in 1992, marks 30 years on the market this year.

Its first Farma trailer was designed on the factory floor and today it is one of the market’s best-selling brands, not only in Sweden but in many countries around the world.
