AFTER several delays due to a shortage of components and raw materials, production of Först's new sub-750 kg petrol woodchipper has begun.
The TT6 weighs in at 745 kg, with a 270-degree turntable and a fully emission-compliant 37 horsepower. Built at Först's Andover, Hampshire, base, it has been described as perfect for city contractors and arborists looking for outstanding performance, unrivalled manoeuvrability and convenience.
Tougher and stronger than its predecessors, it incorporates the chipping chamber and engine from the Först ST6P and is designed sleek and sharp to look good behind any vehicle.
It measures 2,800 mm in transport position and 2,250 mm when turned 90 degrees. There’s a wide hopper right down to the FörstGrip feed, which in turn gives an exceptional grip on timber.
The introduction of the TT6 follows months of rigorous testing to guarantee a strong, robust product and is backed by a three-year warranty.
