A FORMER machine instructor has been appointed as John Deere’s sales manager for Scotland.
Gary Young replaces long-serving Graeme Kemp in the role, who has accepted a position as managing director at Dick Brothers.
Having previously been employed by the firm for four years up to 2017, Gary is already well-known to customers of the industry giant.
A John Deere spokesperson added: “Gary’s extensive product and industry knowledge and natural passion for customer focus should make him an outstanding acquisition.
“Graeme was with the company for 16 years, firstly as an instructor and more recently covering the sales position since 2012.
“In that time ‘Kempy’ achieved exceptional levels of success in machine sales and goes with the sincere best wishes from all at John Deere as he embarks on a new career.”
