THE winners from 2022’s ‘tee-rrific’ Foresters Golf Day have been announced.
Golfers from England, Wales and Scotland competed for the Beacon Bowl at Whiteleaf Golf Club, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, recently, with Craig Harrison of Forestry England emerging as the champion.
His total of 33 points was just one more than Iwan Parry of Tilhill, while Dick Preston, formerly of the Forestry Commission, Roger Wilson of the FC, and Dougal Driver of Grown in Britain all tied for third on 31.
The winning team was Craig, Iwan and Dougal. Nearest the pin was Craig.
Next year’s event will take place at Whiteleaf Golf Club on Thursday, September 28.
