ONE of Wood-Mizer’s most popular sawmill series is expanding with the introduction of a new model – the largest in the range.
The LT15 Classic Wide Mobile builds on the LT15 set and features a wider sawhead than its predecessors, capable of cutting logs of up to 90 cm in diameter.
With a portable chassis for transportation, its design is based on the S3 type bed, consisting of three segments, each 1.95 m long.

The sawmill bed is fitted with six standard side supports and three manual log clamps for securing the log. The standard bed configuration of the LT15 Classic Wide Mobile sawmill allows you to cut logs up to a maximum of 5.2 m. For more efficient log loading, the sawmill can be equipped with a set of loading ramps with a manual winch. A standard log wedge allows for efficient levelling and positioning of any tapered logs.
It comes with a trailer package (up to 1,500 kg), including an axle with wheels, a hitch with a support wheel, eight adjustable outriggers, a light bar, side positioning lights, and fences. The sawmill bed sections have been redesigned and strengthened for increased integration with the chassis, while the electrical wires are secured under special covers.
The clearance between blade rollers is increased to 88 cm, allowing for sawing cants with a maximum width of 82 cm and the maximum thickness of the board at 27 cm. A redesigned sawhead to cut wider logs requires 4,470 mm long sawmill blades, fed on the standard 483 mm band wheels.
In the standard configuration, the LT15 Classic Wide Mobile sawmill features the electric up/down feed system and manual forward/reverse, which can be upgraded to the electric power-feed version.
The LT15 Classic Wide Mobile sawmill is now available in selected markets and offered with a two-year warranty.
