HUGE demand has seen Friday and Saturday tickets for the Royal Highland Show sell out.

The event, which starts this Thursday and will run for four days, has seen people take advantage of the online-only ticket sales system.

This follows organisers the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) increasing capacity by 5000 tickets per day, bringing the total daily capacity to 55,000.

This year over 200,000 visitors are expected to be welcomed to the Show.

The remaining tickets for Sunday and Thursday can be bought on the Royal Highland Show website: royalhighlandshow.org. Visitors with tickets already purchased for the Friday and Saturday can still purchase Royal Highland Hoolie tickets and parking for the Friday and Saturday.

Visitors can find Forestry Journal on 4th Avenue opposite the Forestry Arena. We'll have full coverage from the event across our social channels and in July's magazine.
