GRAPPLE manufacturer Hultdins has unveiled new "heavy duty" versions of two of its products.

The SG260S and SG310S follow in the footsteps of the larger end of the SuperGrip S-line series by benefitting from updated design features and efficiency-boasting layout changes, all of which are said to improve their sturdiness.

With the 310S replacing the existing 300S, Hultdins says the grapples produce improved performance "without sacrificing nimbleness". Last year, the firm unveiled several tweaks to its popular product line as it sought to increase its robustness, including a new SG500S.

A statement from the Sweden-based company read: "Our smaller reinforced grapples are now following in the footsteps of their bigger siblings and are getting the same general heavy Duty design, only in a more compact package.

"In addition to the updated design features of the bigger S-line grapples, the new SG260S and the new SG310S have upgraded layouts striving to increase efficiency. SG310S has a new improved grapple arm geometry gaining grapple area and performance without sacrificing nimbleness.

"As always, the development of these new grapples has been achieved in close contact with our end users."

Both grapples are due to be released during Q3 2024.

Elsewhere, FTG Källefall is now introducing the M75T crane for the FB90D trailer in the latest of a series of recent developments. The M75T is a "well proven crane with great specifications", and a total reach of 7.5m, a 500 kg lifting capacity at full reach, and 1,100 kg at 4 m.

As standard, the crane is equipped with four-tonne rotator with braked link, FB190WF grapple and mechanical valve.
