TELEHANDLER specialist Magni has announced a partnership with Field and Forest.

Founded in Italy in 2013, the company is a leader in rotating and heavy-lift telescopic handlers, with over 300 dealers serving 150 countries throughout the world.

Based in Broxburn, West Lothian, with a depot in Hampshire, Field and Forest is a supplier of specialist machinery and attachments to the forestry and agriculture markets. The addition of the RTH range complements its existing line-up of Westtech and GMT grapples for which the telehandlers are already optimised.

Described as platform, crane and forklift in one machine, RTH telehandlers boast working heights ranging from 18 to 51 metres and lifting capacities between four and 13 tonnes. The cab with A/C and panoramic windshield offers exceptional visibility, while rough-terrain tyres and high ground clearance make them perfect for irregular forestry terrain.

Every model is equipped with four-wheel drive and steering to ensure maximum stability.

Field and Forest’s founder and director, Tom Brown, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Magni, a name synonymous with innovation and quality in the telehandler market. This partnership is a testament to our commitment to providing the forestry sector with the best machinery available.

“As the UK dealer for GMT Equipment and Westtech grapple saws, it was an obvious next step to partner with Magni, which now makes it easy for our customers to purchase the full set-up at a one-stop shop.

“Magni’s RTH range is a game-changer for our industry, offering unparalleled versatility and performance. Our collaboration is poised to elevate the safety standards of forestry operations, and we are looking forward to working with existing and new customers to build the ideal set-up to accelerate productivity and efficiency. We have forestry-spec machines in stock ready for customers to view.”

Magni sales director George Stanhope said: “I’ve known Tom for a while now; I know how connected he is across the forestry sector. We’ve seen what a great job he’s done with Yanmar and so think Field and Forest is the ideal partner to bring Magni machines to the forestry sector.

“We’re very good at manufacturing machines and firmly established in the construction sector. Now we have a partner who knows the forestry industry inside and out and can help us serve that market.

“We’re really pleased about this partnership. Tom had no sooner signed the contract than he sold a 30 m RTH to a customer. So we’re very excited and expecting big things.”
