FOREXPO, the European exhibition for forestry and logging, has been delayed until 2021 due to COVID-19.
Initially scheduled from June 17 to 19, 2020 at Landes de Gascogne in Mimizan, France, the quadrennial event will now take place on June 16, 17 and 18, 2021 at the same venue.
A statement from the event organisers said: "The current quarantine gives no visibility on the return to normal and the economic situation of the coming months will not allow exhibitors to prepare the fair or even to mobilise equipment."
The theme of the 26th edition of Forexpo in 2021 will remain linked to wood professions, with the particular objective of inviting middle and high schools to raise awareness of employment prospects in the sector and career development.
