ENVIRONMENT & GREEN PROJECTS POSITION

A full-time position has become available in our Environmental and Forestry department on the estate which is comprised of 700 acres of woodland and 380 of environmental stewardship options, some contract work is also carried out off the estate.

This is a diverse role that includes the production and delivery of firewood, the processing of woodchip for outside customers and the estate’s two biomass boilers, planting new hedges and woodland annually, fence maintenance, and work within our vineyard. As government policy changes, we will be looking at new and exciting projects that could bring further responsibility to the role

The successful applicant should have formal qualifications and training relevant to position, and preferably have some experience in chainsaw use, tractor driving and firewood processing.

A clean driving licence is essential. The salary will be dependent on experience. A house could be available on the Estate.
