EXPERIENCED FORESTER

Reporting to the Forestry Foreman you will be part of a small team carrying out all traditional estate forestry and maintenance tasks. These will include but not be limited to:

Chainsaw tree felling; tree planting; use of forestry machinery including tractor winch, timber trailers, woodchipper and firewood processor.

Roadside and parkland tree work; grass cutting; small scale firewood and Christmas tree production; chemical knapsack spraying; maintenance and repair of forestry equipment.

You must have CS30, CS31, CS32 and CS35 chainsaw certificates, forestry machine operator’s certificates and have a full driving licence.

On-going training will be provided to the successful applicant.
