FOREST MANAGER/SENIOR FOREST MANAGER

RTS Forestry is the leading independent Forest Management Company operating throughout Scotland and Northern England. We are seeking a dynamic Forest Manager/Senior Forest Manager to join our team of 20 professional foresters. We have offices in Crieff, Hexham, Aboyne and will shortly open our Inverness office.

You will want to work for us if your ambition is to deliver your forest management abilities with a degree of independence while still benefitting from being part of a professional team. We take pride in being an active, agile firm where each Forest Manager takes responsibility for their operations and pride in delivering high quality works on the ground. Our clients range from investment portfolio managers to small scale farm woodland owners. Your projects will include forest management of both commercial and native woodlands through to major upland new woodland creation from our existing portfolio. As a Senior Manager you will be given the opportunity to contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the company.

The advertised position is based within our Head Office in Crieff providing a service to clients throughout Scotland. There is scope to align the role with an individual’s home location so consequently applications from those living out with the Perthshire area and delivering with an element of remote/home working may be considered.

For the above position the salary package will be commensurate with the individual’s experience and their potential to quickly develop and contribute to the continuing success of the company. Company vehicle, pension contribution and participation in the company’s annual bonus scheme will also be provided.
