FOREST MANAGER - WALES & THE MARCHES

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the existing portfolio of clients’ woodlands and for expanding the business through management of commercial forests and estate woodlands.

Candidates should have experience in managing the safe and efficient delivery of woodland operations. The role will also entail the preparation of Woodland Plans and Felling Licences, including liaison with statutory authorities.

Client budgeting and financial control are other key aspects of the role.

We seek candidates who hold relevant practical and/or academic qualifications and have experience in a similar position. You will need to be self-motivated, have good organisational and communication skills and have the ability to work as a key member of a small, friendly team.

Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or working towards chartered status would be desirable.

An attractive salary, commensurate with experience, plus vehicle and contributory pension, is offered for this responsible position.
