Home based roles covering Central/Fife region


Scottish Woodlands Utilities Division is an established contractor in the industry and our work comprises vegetation and fencing contracts and a wide variety of minor civils works. The division currently manages the SPEN Overhead Powerline Network for Edinburgh/Borders and Central/Fife and are responsible for maintaining all vegetation within proximity of powerlines.


To expand our current team, we are looking to recruit several Forest Operatives or experienced Arborists to join our existing SPEN vegetation management teams.


Based from home and travelling to client locations, you will be responsible for carrying out high quality arboricultural works adjacent to powerlines in accordance with Scottish Woodlands and SPEN procedures.


To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, show initiative and be capable of working as part of our expanding professional team. While experience is preferred, if you can demonstrate the right qualities and work ethic, you may also be considered for the position as full training can be provided.


You will also be required to undergo an employment medical examination including as well as a drugs and alcohol screening.


A driver’s licence is preferred since you will be required to drive to sites, however those without will also be considered.
