HARVESTING CONTRACTS MANAGER


Location: Wales & Marches (Bala or Llandovery office)
Salary Range: DOE, starting from £30k per annum
Monday-Friday – 38.75 hours per week

We have a great opportunity for a Harvesting Contracts Manager to join our Harvesting team here at Tilhill. Reporting to the Area Harvesting Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of timber harvesting contracts and timber supply, covering operations across Mid-Wales. Responsible for all aspects of site management, harvesting production and logistics, you will also take on responsibilities relating to forestry work management.


About you

Already experienced with handling harvesting contracts, within a superviosry or management role, you have proven people management skills and the ability to build and maintain exeptional relationships with key business stakeholders including clients, contractors, hauliers and suppliers. In addition to this, we’re looking for:

• A Degree or Diploma in Harvesting (or equivalent), or other land-based subjects.
• A proven safety, environmental and commercial awareness.
• The ability to adapt and work towards tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing commercial environment.
• Have a self-motivated attitude, as well as a collaborative approach.
• Have excellent communication and people skills.
• A Full Driving Licence.


Depending on experience, the successful candidate may be required to undertake further training in order to fulfil the roles full requirements.
