Harvesting Manager - South Scotland/North of England


Your Tasks
• Promote a high level of health and safety awareness and environmental practice.
• Undertake a lead and supportive role in Company relevant projects which will help improve the service provision.
• Develop competence in the areas of timber harvesting, valuing and marketing.
• Meet both financial and production based budgetary targets and assist with the continuous improvement of the Company.
• Support Area Harvesting Managers in timber measurement and valuation, supervision of sites, budgeting, document compilation and maintenance of records and carry out other duties that may arise.
• Knowledge of UK Forest Standard, Forest Certification and ISO management systems and assist in the management thereof.


Our Requirements
• Recognised forestry qualification or have a relevant practical background.
• Full UK Driving License is essential.
• Must be well organised, efficient, personable and have a good confident telephone manner.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are important.
• Able to develop and build upon working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• High standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel Outlook).
