HEAD OF FORESTRY INVESTMENT


Location: Flexible, covering UK
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + Bonus + Company Car Monday-Friday – 38.75 hours per week

Responsibilities of Head of Forestry Investment include:

• Service demand, societal need, and the outlook from forestry investors, seeking to harness the current buoyant environment for professional advisory services and opportunities to develop innovative new offerings for our customers.
• Leading expert teams across forestry, woodlands, land and natural capital, covering areas such as acquisition advisory, sale advisory, valuation, consultancy, and asset management.
• Provide leadership and vision in how our business can optimise the customer experience and provide inspiration, guidance and motivation to the FI team.


Depending on experience, the successful candidate may be required to undertake further training in order to fulfil the roles full requirements.


About you

With prior experience in Forestry, you have strong commercial acumen and extensive management operational experience within the land-based sector. With strong collaborative and relationship management skills, you’re able to build and maintain exceptional rapport with key business stakeholders. In addition to this, you’ll have:

• Degree or Diploma in Forestry, or other land based subject(s).
• Sound knowledge of the UK Forestry Investment market.
• Proven people management skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters &/or a RICS Registered Valuer.
• Full driving licence.
• Cycle to Work scheme.
