Role Purpose

As a member of the Recreation Team for North West Wales, you will be responsible for promoting safe and responsible access at one of Natural Resources Wales premier Forest Parks as well as other recreation sites within North West Wales. You will help produce a suite of visitor infomtion material using different printed and online mediums as well as undertaking risk assessments, inspections and supervision of maintenance contracts for our recreation facilites.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Experience of working across a wide range of land management disciplines.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience of conservation management, designated sites, and all aspects of forest practise, including land liabilities, forest planning, forest operations, recreation asset management, including visitor centre management. (where relevant)
3. Knowledge of sustainable forest management, UKWAS and forest certification schemes.
