DO you have a passion for all things forestry AND want to work for one of the sector's biggest firms? Then look no further.

Euroforest is currently recruiting for an area manager in harvesting, who will be at the forefront of the company's day-to-day activities.

Description

We believe in giving you autonomy to run an area on a day-to-day basis just as if it was your own business but with support always on hand. Part of the key to your success will be to build relationships with clients, customers, colleagues and contractors. Plus, have the comfort of knowing that you are working in an industry that produces the most carbon-friendly building product there is, and it’s renewable as once a forest is felled it is replanted and the whole cycle starts again.

Working alongside other Harvesting Managers, responsible for procuring millions of trees annually, you will bring your business acumen to collaborate effectively and deliver the highest level of service to our clients. You will also gain valuable knowledge about various options and their financial implications within the industry.

Your role will involve developing relationships with our trusted hauliers and harvesting contractors, strategising the best approach for each site to ensure the well-being of our team and the preservation of the environment. Utilising cutting-edge technology, including precision-programmed harvesting machines, advanced forwarders, eco-friendly lorries, and state-of-the-art mapping software, you will lead the industry in forest harvesting practices.

To apply: Send your CV and a Cover Letter to recruitment@euroforest.co.uk quoting reference EF/AMN2306, or simply call Steven Parr on 07803 951334 for an informal chat.
