With well over a decade of experience and expertise in the forestry sector, we have forged a strong industry reputation and we believe we have an unrivalled skill set and peerless knowledge of forestry work at all levels.

We have seen recent significant growth and currently have some exciting projects underway in woodland management, timber harvesting and establishment, across the country. We are looking for a new Forester to join us in providing a service that is second to none.

At COOMBES we value integrity, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and working together as one team to give our clients the best possible service. If this sounds like you, please reach out to us – we’d love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be required to conduct and document site inspections, audits and surveys.

We are looking for candidates with substantial relevant experience within the forestry industry and who are experienced in identifying and advising on the management or control of diseases affecting trees. You will have the proven ability to utilise GIS/GPS to establish site features and confident in advising clients on SAMs, AONBs, SSSIs, etc.

The role will require you to be a self-motivated team member who can work both independently and ‘muck-in’ as part of a team. You will take pride in your work, complete tasks to a high standard, in line with COOMBES’s ethos and values.
