REGIONAL MANAGER (FORESTRY)

Location: South Scotland & Borders

Tilhill has an exciting opportunity to join our South Scotland and Borders Team as a Regional Manager.

Reporting directly to the Forestry Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic plans, monitoring and controlling budgets, resource planning, leading growth and supporting the Region in line with our wider Company business strategy and vision.

This role is key to our on-going business development. We are looking for an individual who can motivate and lead a team with enthusiasm, drive and ability to apply high professional standards in order to create and deliver a thriving, commercially driven business.

This position will be both challenging and rewarding and offer the opportunity for considerable personal development.

Ideally, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
• Relevant academic qualifications.
• Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another relevant professional body.
• A safety qualification ‘IOSH Managing Safely’ or equivalent.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• The vision, ability and enthusiasm to expand the company’s customer base effectively.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of the UK Forestry Standard & UKWAS.
