Job Description

Forestry and Land Scotland are looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about the outdoors to join our dedicated delivery teams at Aberfoyle and Glenbranter. We are looking for people who are comfortable working both independently and as part of a diligent land management team in the West Region to help maintain our stunning historic trails in Aberfoyle and our forest routes with spectacular views in Glenbranter. Successful candidates will be keen problem solvers and good communicators.

The role of Stewardship and Forest Management Craftsperson is varied and exciting. You will provide assistance with a wide range of forest management activities including tree planting, felling and tending, as well as maintenance of footpaths, trails and carparks. You will carry out safety inspections and a range of repair and maintenance work, using a variety of tools. A positive and proactive approach to health and safety is vital, and experience in land management is desirable.
